It is 6:00 p.m. in the evening and all the students
are looking forward to their Physics lecture. The teacher walks in and he is
greeted by all of the students. He keeps the class in awe of his abilities and
shares his life experiences with them. The students have no idea how the time
passes by and after the class ends, they cannot wait for the next.
The teacher making this possible is Mr. Ankit Rathore,
a teacher currently working at one of the IIT coaching centers in Pune. Being
quite young, only 25 years old, he can relate with his students very well,
making him a favorite. “My dream from a young age was to work in NASA or ISRO,”
he said,” So I had decided to enter the best colleges in India the IITs.”
However, the journey was very tough. Mr. Rathore studied extensively each day
and had to leave behind some of his hobbies including cricket, which was very
close to his heart.
After entering IIT Bombay, he was a changed man. He
was in awe of the opportunities that suddenly became available to him. After
working as a private tutor, he decided to teach at an institute. “I wanted to
help those who, like me, wished to achieve their dreams; I help them overcome
their difficulties.” He says that anyone can achieve their goals if they
maintain complete focus. His advice is to always start small and work towards
the bigger target.
