Engineering has been one
of the most commonly chosen career options in today’s world. Indians account
for a fair share of Engineers among all. One such IIT’ian is Nitesh Maheshwari.
Mr. Maheshwari gave his
JEE exam in the year 2010. He comes from a humble background. He always aspired
to be an IIT’ian from his childhood. He joined Kota coaching classes in order
to prepare for his entrance exam. He was extremely good at mathematics and he
hated chemistry. He would irritate his chemistry sir with all types of doubts.
However, afterstruggling for two long years, he made it to IIT Kanpur. Mr
Maheshwari claims that the four years at IIT Kanpur were the best four years of
his life.
Nitesh Maheshwari had an interest
in teaching since he was a child. He states that he never wants to do a desk
job and devote his entire life into teaching. He has a unique way of teaching
students. His teaching involves humour as the main ingredient. He believes in
qualitative problem solving and logical reasoning.
As of today, Mr Maheswari
teaches in a prestigious institute to five different batches across Pune. He
recalls that his best memory was dancing in anybody’s marriage with his
friends, in Kanpur. When asked about his biggest mistake, Mr Maheshwari grinned,”
The biggest mistake I made in my life was marrying my wife!!!” I couldn’t help
being amused at his joke!!
The biggest takeaway after
interviewing him was hard work and dedication. I was really inspired by the way
he overcame all the obstacles and achieved his goals.
