Entering into
IITs is one of the common aims of many students who want to take up Engineering.
But it was not the case for this gentleman. He was one of the BITS aspiring students. Working hard to get into BITS along with enjoying
life was his success trick. He decided to give BITSAT in 2014, he believed that
more the struggles a person faces in life, the more value he gets and the more
he achieves. He always suggests students aspiring to enter good, reputed
colleges, to study until they get the work done and not until they get tired.
Shaunak Naik,
who had been a topper in his 10th class board exam decided to pursue
his career in Computer Science. His developed interest towards Computer Science
when he had designed his first game in Unity-3 D, Pin-Ball. Shaunak believes in
more ‘productive’ study than more study. He believes that the greatest
misconception among class 11th students is that they consider class
11th to be a rest year. Also, he believes in logical reasoning for
advanced question solving. Shaunak being a National level Football player had
to pause all of his sports activities so as to concentrate more on studies. He
believes that one can manage sports along with studies only till class 10th
and not after that.
Along with
sports, he had also paused his use of social media. To all BITS aspiring students he
says,” Hard-work is the key to success and there is nothing like the gifted
intelligence”, as smart-work did not work out for him. After two years of
hard-work, struggle, determination, this young man entered into the Birla
Institute of Science and Technology, setting an example for many...
